&well yesterday was a very inspiring day. Coupla days been pondering about LIFE.
went to grandma's house, watched this "Tribe" show on Discovery Channel and there was this particular segment that set me thinking. So this guy he consumed large doses of avocado and this gave him vivid hallucinations about his life. But anyway that wasn't the main point. The main point is, this hallucination caused him to hallucinate about what his repercussions of his wrongdoings on the people. Which made me realise, that sometimes what we do, we don't take into consideration the feelings of others who are affected by it. And what I'm saying here isn't only me, but also to many many people around me, whom I think have neglected my feelings as well. Just cos we think so fully of ourselves, just cos we only care about ourselves, just cos we want the best for ourselves, sometimes we do things that we think it's the best solution, and we sidelined those around us; their opinions, feelings. Which what I think many of us is guilty of. No trying to deny, but it happens to all of us. I think it's only natural human instinct to fend ourselves from danger, to do what is best, but then, we sometimes can't help but not to care about those people, right? But we're all interconnected in this world, person;family;community;nation;WORLD. That what we do is a ripple effect. That our actions have implications. And everything we do comes with a cost.
&school.
quite unexpected to see how the "Reflection Day" turned out to be like (guess many will agree)
thought it would be boring though so we had these group of men/priests/pastors/church people who came. sad to say there were people who were not very sensitive enough. played a few lame games, then Mr.Ivan and Mr.Angmoh (i forgot his name you see) shared with us a few stories about their kids. And again, I wondered, how sometimes you have to
let go of things. No point hanging on, but it sometimes better to let go, than to keep clinging on to it. Someday we will have to give up some of the things which we sometimes take for granted in life, and it's like holding on to dreams; you know it isn't going to last long, but you simply want to savour every moment of it.
after the break, made some confessions. confessed about sins that I committed, aspirations for the future. shan's ventured much into that, cos i gtg now! props to
